Welcome to St. Peters Church

Situated on Nantucket Sound, with several bays and inlets for boating and fishing, Osterville is one of seven villages belonging to the town of Barnstable, Massachusetts. Primarily a residential community, Osterville has a quaint village center with upscale shops and restaurants.

With sheltered harbors, picturesque beaches, as welol as golf and tennis, Osterville has always been a delightful place to spend
the summer. Many seasonal residents maintain a second home here while spending most of their time in Greater Boston.

St. Peters Church is in the process of searching for our new rector. In prayer, we ask that our new Rector:

• Have the heart of a Pastor and a willingness to share his or her spiritual journey and walk with us in ours;
  
  
• Enrich the experience of worship through the exploration of diverse liturgical forms.


• Take a leadership role in developing and expanding our sense of stewardship;


• Understand parish administration and is willing to delegate.


• Is sensitive to the issues facing our Diocese, the Episcopal Church and the Anglican conmmunion.
  
  
• Is a presence in the local community.
